The Players’ Championship was the fifth stop of the season for the Grand Slam of Curling and was the final chance for team’s to earn points for the $75,000 Pinty’s Cup.

We captured the season-long trophy thanks to a great year on tour and winning two of our round robin games in Toronto.

We’ve had an exciting year on the Grand Slam of Curling, having won a record three consecutive trophies and picking up our record 10th career Grand Slam win in early 2019.

The Players’ Championship brought together 12 of the top women’s teams from across the world to compete in two pools. The top eight teams advanced to weekend playoffs at the Mattamy Athletic Centre.

In round robin play we finished with a 2-3 record, before losing out of the event in a tiebreaker.

Our next and final stop of the season is in Saskatoon for the Grand Slam of Curling Champions Cup on April 23-28.

We were very happy to be back in Ontario competing in front of home crowds last week.  All throughout the week we tried to connect with fans through social media and in person.

On Monday we had a chance to curl with our friends at AMJ Campbell after joining Toronto’s Breakfast Television.

We took over Egg Farmers of Ontario’s Instagram story on Wednesday and we gave a lucky follower a signed Emma Miskew jersey over on their Instagram. On Thursday an Egg Farmer of Ontario took over our social media and brought fans a behind-the-scenes view of what it’s like to be a fan at one of these big events.

Fans joined us for an autograph session with our friends at BOOST on the main concourse after our Friday evening game. We also hopped on BOOST’s Facebook Live to answer your questions.
