We’ve landed on the Las Vegas Strip for one of the season’s most exciting events.
The 2019 World Financial Group Continental Cup started Thursday. We’re participating in our fifth Continental Cup representing Team North America.
The event features traditional games, mixed doubles, mixed, skins and the new team scramble.
Team North America continues to trail Team World 13.5 to 4.5. Saturday marks the introduction of the women’s Team Scramble. Women’s teams will be mixed and no regular front end duo can play together nor can a regular backend duo.
Rachel and Joanne will team up with Kaitlyn Lawes and Dawn McEwen. Meanwhile, Emma and Lisa will be joining Jamie Sinclair and Taylor Anderson.
The women’s Team Scramble starts at 11:30 a.m. ET (8:30 a.m. PT).
Later on Saturday, Rachel and Joanne will team up with BJ Neufeld and Ben Hebert for the Mixed Team Scramble at 9:30 p.m. ET (6:30 p.m. PT). You can catch that game on TSN.
Each game in the Ryder Cup-style tournament is worth points. A total of 60 points can be won with the first team to get to 30.5 being crowned the champion. You can find the latest updates and team lineups here.
Team North America/Canada has won seven of the last eight Continental Cup titles.
TSN has full television coverage of all the draws.
