Our 2016 - 2017 season begins this week with a close-to-home stop on the World Curling Tour.  We’ll be competing in Cornwall, Ontario at the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Curling Classic.

After a busy off-season of training, traveling, our Junior Camp and preparing for this season, we’re ready to pick up where we left off last season.  We enter 2016-2017 as the current #1 ranked women’s team in the world on the World Curling Tour Order of Merit but we know we have lots of work to do to maintain that spot.

In Cornwall we started in a round robin pool with Teams Fleming (SCO), Inglis (ONT), MacPhee (PEI) and Morrissey (ONT).

This event is not televised but we’ll be sure to provide ample updates across all of our social channels.

As we start another season we’d like to thank our sponsors for believing in us and for supporting women’s curling over the years.  Our journey is a long and busy one but it would be impossible without the support of these organizations.

Thanks to Pacific Exploration & Production, we’re giving back to Ottawa area junior curlers with $300 grants available to 10 athletes.  You can find out more about this opportunity, which ends Oct. 2nd, here.

Thanks also to our fans who are some of the most loyal curling supporters.  Your tweets, messages, in-person greetings and photos make coming off the ice that much better whether we win or lose.  We’re looking forward to bringing you even closer to the action this season with more content from our events and contests to thank you.
