Team Homan is proud to announce BrokerLink as the team's official insurance provider.
BrokerLink joins the Ottawa-based curling team's impressive list of corporate partners supporting the team's quest for gold in 2018 and continued success in the Grand Slam of Curling.
Fresh off the team's Roar of the Rings victory, BrokerLink has teamed up with Skip Rachel Homan, Third Emma Miskew, Second Joanne Courtney, Lead Lisa Weagle and Coach Adam Kingsbury.
The team will work with BrokerLink to promote their curling insurance program to players and curling clubs in Ontario. Ontario Curling and Northern Ontario Curling Association members can receive discounts on their home and car insurance, while curling clubs can get tailored insurance to fit their club’s needs.
“We’re excited about the sponsorship as it’s a great fit for Team Homan and our company,” says John Baizana, head of Ontario for BrokerLink. “We’re proud to have the team showcase BrokerLink across Canada and abroad. Looking forward to cheering them on!”
BrokerLink, which supports curling across Canada including being a Silver Sponsor of the 2017 Roar of the Rings in Ottawa, is one of the largest Canadian property and casualty insurance brokerage operations in the country. BrokerLink is also a Bronze Sponsor of the 2018 World Financial Group Continental Cup and a Silver Sponsor of the 2018 Ford Women’s Curling Championship.
BrokerLink has 125 offices supported by more than 1,500 employees across Ontario, Alberta and Atlantic Canada.
"We're thrilled to have the support of BrokerLink as we chase our goals in 2018 and look forward to helping create awareness for an insurance program that has been customized for curling clubs and OCA & NOCA members in Canada" said Skip Rachel Homan.
Team Homan are three-time Canadian champions, the reigning World Champions and, in February, will represent Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.
