We were back on the World Curling Tour over the weekend and we were once again in the west. Red Deer was the latest stop for many of the women's teams for the 2014 Red Deer Curling Classic.
After a decent start we dropped through the triple knockout event and into the "C" event qualifier where we lost a tough extra-end decision to Team Kleibrink.
Our next spiel kicks off the first weekend of December as we do battle in the Canada Cup of Curling. This year's event will be hosted in Camrose, Alberta on December 3rd -7th. Tickets and draw information are available here. You'll be able to catch action from the men's and women's divisions on TSN.
If you don’t follow us on Twitter or Facebook you may have missed some special news announced recently involving to our former long-time coach Earle Morris. Congratulations to Earle and the other curling coaches who were recipients of the Coaching Association of Canada’s Petro-Canada Coaching Excellence Awards.
Thank you to our loyal fans who wish us good luck through all of our social channels while we are on the road. It's great to read the encouraging messages when we're far from home!
