November was a great month for our team and an especially great one for our coach Earle Morris. Our longtime coach was recognized with two very special awards.
We congratulate Earle on receiving the 2013 Petro-Canada Coaching Excellence Award at the Coaching Association of Canada’s annual Sport Leadership sportif Conference in Calgary.
“In simple terms, Earle is a difference maker,” says Gerry Peckham, Director, High Performance for the CCA. “He has always been an innovator and continually strives to bring cutting edge concepts to his athletes as they pursue competitive excellence. Earle is a coaching professional in every sense of the word.”

On Thursday, November 21st Earle was also recognized at Ottawa City Hall by Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson for his contribution to amateur sports. Our coach received the Brian Kilrea Award for Excellence in Coaching.
As our longtime coach, Earle has been instrumental to our success on the ice. He has also taught us many lessons off the ice.
Thank you for your support and congratulations Earle!
